Thai Burgers

Cooking time: 16 minutes

Serves: 4

  • 600g Minced Beef
  • 2 de seeded red chillies finely chopped
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 4 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Thai fish sauce (available from most good stores)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 5 water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • Oil for Brushing

Using your hands, mix together in a large bowl, shape in to 4 round burgers and chill in the fridge for at least and hour to firm. Brush each with a little oil. Cook about 5 inches from a medium heat, 7-8 minutes per side or until thoroughly cooked.

Serving Suggestions: Sesame seed buns, crisp lettuce, sweet chilli sauce
