- 600g Minced Beef
- 2 de seeded red chillies finely chopped
- 4 spring onions, finely sliced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 tbsp Thai fish sauce (available from most good stores)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 5 water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
- Oil for Brushing
Using your hands, mix together in a large bowl, shape in to 4 round burgers and chill in the fridge for at least and hour to firm. Brush each with a little oil. Cook about 5 inches from a medium heat, 7-8 minutes per side or until thoroughly cooked.
Serving Suggestions: Sesame seed buns, crisp lettuce, sweet chilli sauce
